The second swim in the Ocean Swim Series will be at Mooloolaba Beach, situated on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. The is a popular coastal destination that captivates visitors with its stunning beauty and vibrant atmosphere. Its long stretch of golden sand is perfect for sunbathing, sandcastle building, or leisurely strolls. Mooloolaba Beach is renowned for its year-round surf breaks, attracting surfers from near and far. The beach is also famous for its picturesque esplanade, which is lined with alfresco dining options, cafes, and boutique shops. With its relaxed coastal ambiance, Mooloolaba Beach provides an ideal setting for a memorable beach getaway.
Due to the predicted large swells and high winds on Saturday 28 October, the decision has been made to move the Mooloolaba Ocean Swim to the Mooloolaba Spit (Beach Access 194). This location provides more protected waters for our swimmers and water safety.
The precinct area (registration, bag drop, recovery) will now be located at the Mooloolaba Spit Park.
